The Video Resume Compliance Committee (VRCC) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the development and promotion of standards for video resume recruiting and video interview recruiting. In addition, it provides a forum to recruiters, video resume software developers, job seekers, schools and universities for exchange of information.

In 2006, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission counted total 75,768 charges against U.S. employers for discrimination. That’s about 207 per day. The number of charge receipts filed and resolved in 2006 under Title VII alleging:

- race-based discrimination: 27 238

- sex-based discrimination: 23 247

- age-based discrimination: 16 548

- national origin-based discrimination: 8 327

In 2006, $229.9 Million have been paid in monetary benefits (benefits obtained through litigation not included)

The mission of VRCC is to spare employers the risk of implementing wrong or insufficient recruiting standards when it comes to Video Resumes. VRCC is driven by the needs and priorities of its members. Any member can propose that the VRCC undertake a standards activity.
